I totally agree with you! It weirds me out too, but you’ll really be in awe when you see little H and think about how that beautiful baby was inside your belly just a bit ago!
I welcomed my Addison into the world on March 6th, unfortunately after 10 hours of labor she decided to flip around breech right as my water broke, so I had to have a c-section! She was 6lbs even and 18 inches long, a little peanut. Just thought I’d share!
I tried not to think about it too much. It scared me. Im much more ok with a person coming out of you than I was with a person coming out of myself though. (you know my little people are everything to me but it was so much better once they were here…)
See, this whole post + comment exchange is kind of making me laugh (in a good way), but I suspect it’s because I’ve never seriously thought about having kids in the near future. If I had to deal with an abdominal parasite myself, I think it would suddenly seem much more serious. 🙂
